A letter to those who build.
An annual reflection on where Grovistra has been, where it is going, and what we believe in.
An annual reflection on where Grovistra has been, where it is going, and what we believe in.
To the founders, partners, and future members of the Grovistra community —
When I started Grovistra, I held a single conviction: the most enduring value is owned, not rented. It comes not from chasing what is fashionable, but from building with patience — and not from flipping what we acquire, but from holding it, and helping it become what it was always capable of being.
We laid the foundation. Grovistra was established as a private holding company, and our first operating brand, Zavmark, began its work in the market. The model was no longer an idea on paper — it was real, and it was working.
We are deliberately small, and we intend to remain so for a long time. For us, growth was never a question of speed. It is a question of quality. Every brand we acquire, every system we build, every partnership we enter must be something we are prepared to hold for decades.
The businesses we look for share a common thread: a founder who cared deeply about what they made, a product that solves a real problem, and customers who stay because the work is genuinely good. These are the companies that compound over time — and these are the ones we want to steward.
We take no outside capital. We answer to no boards or committees. Every decision passes through a single question: does this create lasting value? When the answer is yes, we move. When it is not, we wait. Patience, here, is not passivity — it is discipline.
If you have built something meaningful and find yourself wondering what comes next, I would welcome the conversation. There are no intermediaries at Grovistra — only a direct, honest discussion about whether this is the right home for what you have created.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. The best of what we will build is still ahead.
